The new station offers numerous daily trains to key cities:

  • Bangkok: 9 trains per day, with the fastest taking just 3h 30m. Fares from 144-396 baht.
  • Surat Thani: 11 daily trains, journey times from 5h 40m to 6h 50m. 2nd class sleepers with A/C available from 577 baht.

Getting to Hua Hin Railway Station

  • Songthaew: White with red stripes, runs along main streets. Fare ~15 baht.
  • Tuk-tuk / Motorcycle Taxi: Readily available, fares from 100 baht.
  • Taxi: Metered taxis can be hailed or found at stands. Fares vary.

Tip: Have small bills ready and confirm fare before boarding songthaews.

  • Songthaew: White line runs circular route on major streets, 15 baht flat fare.
  • Songthaew to Wat Huay Mongkol: Direct from station to temple, floating markets. Fares 20-40 baht.
  • Tuk-tuk / Motorcycle Taxi / Regular Taxi: At station for specific destinations. Agree on fare beforehand.

Tip: The songthaew to Wat Huay Mongkol is convenient for reaching the temple and nearby attractions.
